We focus on whole-person growth by combining accountability, guidance, and practical training that prepares each resident for success in today's world.

Our program includes:

Safe, stable housing in a structured environment

Individual success planning & goal setting

Life-skills development (budgeting, daily routines, responsibility)

Financial literacy and money management education

Employment readiness support and job search guidance

Personal development workshops and growth seminars

Conflict resolution and communication skill building

         Community resource connections and referrals

Residents participate in structured programming while also working toward personal independence, employment education, or long-term housing goals. Our team believes in second chances, personal growth, and providing the tools needed for lasting success-not just temporary shelter,

What Inspired Me to Open This Home

My journey has not been an easy one — but it has been filled with lessons, grace, and second chances.

I grew up facing challenges that most people could never imagine. My parents struggled with addiction, and from a young age I found myself trying to take care of both myself and my sister. Eventually, the State of Georgia took custody of us. Becoming a ward of the state was one of the hardest experiences of my life — but it was also the turning point that changed my future.

Through the support, structure, and opportunities I received, I learned discipline, faith, and resilience. I graduated at the top of my class, earning a 3.8 GPA. For the first time, I felt proud of myself and could see a future beyond survival. Even though my family once told me I would never amount to anything, that experience proved to me that I could rise above my circumstances.

After graduation, I was blessed with a full scholarship — but I chose to give it up so that my sister could attend Savannah State University. That decision was my first chance to give back. For a while, I stayed on a straight and narrow path. But life brought new challenges. As I started having children of my own, I wanted to give them everything I never had — and that led me down some wrong roads and risky choices.

Still, life — and God — were not done with me. The universe gave me another chance. I was blessed beyond measure with peace, redemption, and a new purpose.

That’s when I understood what God had been doing all along: shaping me to help others find the same grace and direction that saved me.

Now, through this group home, I want to give back what was once given to me — guidance, structure, love, and hope. My mission is to show young adult that no matter where they start, their past does not define their future. Everyone deserves a second chance, and sometimes, a helping hand is all it takes to see the light within themselves.
